 | | | | | | | | Unlike many of the young fashion labels today, Lynne Larson was happy to cut her design teeth the old fashioned way, by putting in time at established houses. She spent 15 years perfecting her skills at Daryl K and Katayone Adeli where she learned draping, detailing and — of course, how to create the perfect pant. Now with her own line, Lynnes well honed design chops can be seen here, in her third collection. We love the herringbone blazer with leather appliqus, which is equal parts rock and roll and British dandy. The cashmere cardigan, too, has a dual sexy/slouchy identity. Its a piece that is comfy and oversized, but happens to look really cute with a mini skirt or over a dress. Also, check out the gathered peasant top. It is loose and flowing, but manages to hug in all the right places. Think Wuthering Heights meets Pirates of the Carribean. In an industry where newbies dominate, Larson reminds us that practice makes perfect. Thoughtful, elegant and rigorously designed, this label has been years in the making — and definitely worth the wait. | | | | | | | | | | | | Rebecca Minkoff The newest gotta-have-it handbags. | | | Alexander Wang Cute cashmere with a Cali vibe. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Lynne Larson A thoughtfully designed, coolly elegant RTW line. | | | nOir Glamorous accessories dripping with attitude. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | eDressMe Amazing Designer Dresses from 25%to 80% off! | | | Ron Herman An iconic L.A. boutique experience! | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
