 | | | | | | | | Sharon Gill, owner/designer of her eponymous fashion line, states it's purely 'kismet' (destiny in her native Hindu) that has gotten her this far. As a child in Mumbai, India, she was fascinated by the ethereal, colorful saris worn by her mother and decided that one day she would become a fashion designer and dress beautiful, elegant women. Sharon's father was an international pilot, so she traveled extensively with her family, and was exposed at a young age to fashion currents in Paris, London and Rome. After nearly a decade of working as a designer and collaborating with companies like Jones New York, Liz Claiborne and the Gap, Sharon Gill decided to take the brave step out and create her own line. "Sharon Gill NYC" was born, and her aesthetic is a beautiful marriage of her history in the East & her current lifestyle in the West. Elements like meticulous hand-detailing techniques from India are applied to western silhouettes for an amazing fusion for today's cosmopolitan woman. | | | | | | | | | | | | Karoo Elegant wardrobe staples in slim, flattering cuts. | | | Ananas Handbags inspired by the natural beauty of the South Pacific. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Miguelina Whisper light summer pieces with a French Bohemian vibe. | | | Beckerman Creativity and fun are the benchmarks of this new designer collection. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Sharon Gill NYC Easy, warm weather separates with beautiful hand-wrought stitching and embroidery. | | | JacksonReyes Designs A new line that makes jewelry shopping fun again. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
