Walter Singer, 76, an apparel executive whose career path was ever-changing, died Friday at his son Mark's home in Westport, Conn.

Luigi d'Urso, the stylish Italian businessman and art historian who was married to French designer and model Ines de la Fressange, died Thursday of cardiac arrest, sources close to the family said Monday.

IT Holding SpA widened its losses in 2005, but the company said it is optimistic for 2006.
Bulgari's Trapani Touts 32.3% Uptick in 4Q Net
Bulgari fell a bit short of its 2005 profitability target, but chief executive Francesco Trapani said he's upbeat about a 32.3 percent surge in fourth-quarter net profits and a good start to the current year.
Belk Profits Leap 10.3% in '05
Proffitt's and McRae's stores opened as Belk on March 8. The $620 million deal was completed in July.
