FALL 2006: THE REVIEWS
Range Crew - Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Christian Lacroix
Soft and subtle? Oui. Wonderfully wacky? Oui. The fall Paris shows featured looks that ran from reserved to rebellious.
Chic's All That - Valentino, Hermes, Miu Miu, John Galliano
Paris produced the perfect elixir for elegant luxury: rich materials, refined tailoring and a sophisticated tone.
At Play in the Fields - Chloe, Comme des Garcons, Nina Ricci, Junya Watanabe, Giambattista Valli

Finessing It - Akris, Sonia Rykiel, Martin Margiela, Haider Ackermann, Jasmine Di Milo
Some elaborated on their trademark looks quite effectively, while others -- successfully or unsuccessfully -- ranged further afield.
