FALL 2006: THE REVIEWS
Cool Confidence - Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Karl Lagerfeld
Dark palettes, few frills and well-worked details were some of the elements that made an impact on the runways.
A Sophisticated Air - Chado Ralph Rucci, Zac Posen, Sweetface, Matthew Williamson, Cynthia Rowley
Some of the recent fall collections were all about the pretty and polished, with designers turning out simple cocktail dresses, smart little jackets and great-looking patterned coats.
Leading Ladies - Strenesse, Tory by TRB, Douglas Hannant, Malandrino, Nathan Jenden, Joanna Mastroianni, Manuel
Dressed up, high on cozy or sweetly simplified, the New York runways were big on attitude, from the chic to the glamorous to the sexy.

It's all about dresses this season, from cozy little knitted numbers to all-out glamorous gowns.
